Hello! My name is Heather and in 2009 I married my husband, Loren. We have four daughters Avalyn, Catalina, Sonia and London. In April 2018 we moved from Michigan to Japan for both a work opportunity and to serve God. This blog has documented that journey from the (approximate) beginning. Loren and I love adventure, cooking, golfing and being the crazy ones taking their four daughters with them wherever they go and whatever they do. We want our kids to grow up not with the goal of being happy, but with the goal of putting others needs before their own and to have a real relationship with the God who gives unconditional joy in all circumstances. Laugh with us, cry with us, pray for us and just enjoy the ride with us as we set up camp in a foreign country where we do not speak the language and stick out like a sore thumb.
